The new Lost Soul Gems soundtrack created by Sound Gems Records music company is a unique collection of 16 fabulous soul songs from the 70s, artfully preserved and remastered to provide the perfect walk down memory lane.
You’ll experience some high-quality fan favourites alongside new releases and previously unreleased hidden gems from charting-topping William DeVaughn, Davante Devaughn and Bethan Wyn. The album also boasts forgotten hits by Ebb Tide, The Charmetts and Tommy
McGee.
Sound Gems Records is a record label like no other that claims to welcome listeners, old and young, to the world of soul music. The music company’s founder Frank Fioravanti understands that “hit songs are hard to come by, but when an intensely emotional story enters your mind with an extremely catchy hook that simply comes from heaven, you have a chance. The 70s is an era where singles ruled, so it takes a very special album to pull these together and make it flow.”
Lost Soul Gems is the album that can bring together the old and the new in soul and bring the genre to life, purely for the love of the fans and supporters.
The second single by Davante DeVaughn, another cover of a previous release, was brought to audiences on 10th February through Sound Gems Records, following his massively successful cover of the classic “Be Thankful for What You Got” released on 5th January 2022. This particular single has been covered over 80 times, however, Fioravanti’s produced version with its sound rhythm and soothing tones is one of a kind!
In total the record label has released 6 of Davante Devaughn’s singles, the latest of which was “Loveline,” an original piece created to inspire and move his fans and give them a taste of the real world of Soul.
The Lost Soul Gems album created by the music company also supports singles by Bobby Womack, pulling on “If You Think You’re Lonely Now” from “The Poet” album produced in 1981 and features William DeVaughn, a soul singer/songwriter born in 1947 – and actually no relation to Davante.
You should look out for the cover of “Blood is Thicker Than Water” released 14th March and “A Good Imitation of Love” released 17th March. The next, long-awaited releases include “Crème De Crème” and a remix version of “Be Thankful for What You Got” for those who can’t get enough of that fantastic song.
The Lost Soul Gems collection is an amazing deep dive into the world of Soul for lovers of the old classics and inspired new musicians looking to bring the genre into the modern day.
